This document was provided from the Seminole County School District as a resource for teachers, parents, and students. It provides them with information about the FSA testing and answers some of the most popular questions that they may have.
This is an interesting look into the process our test-makers and standard-setters go through when evaluating content requirements of the FSA and determining what makes a "passing" score. I would give anything to have been able to participate in this panel! I can't imagine what kind of insight those attending back in 2015 received about the "mysterious" FSA test.
Seminole County School leaders plan to waive the use of the Florida Standards Assessments test for students next year, and instead will be using other nationally valid tests, such as the PSAT and SAT.
The Florida Standards Assessments System Requirements for Online Testing have been updated to include web browser information for the training test, netbook screen resolution, and revised Chrome OS details. Please see the updated document in the Resources section.
